My name is David Regimbal — I’m a product designer from Canton, Ohio. I’ve designed, managed, and marketed, and sold various processes, websites, and products for over 18 years.

During my professional career, I’ve collected an array of skills that make me a valuable candidate. My experience isn’t limited to wireframing and digital design.

It started nearly two decades ago when I worked as a sales professional at Patriot Software. I developed a deep sense of empathy for both sides of the buying experience. Good sales people need to understand the pain points of their customers, and I excelled at identifying those pain points, and then solving those issues for my customers.

My sales and customer support role morphed into a marketing one during the recession that ended the aughts. That’s when I learned the importance of messaging, and how the messaging must be tailored to the right audience.

This role pushed me into a digital UX role at Patriot Software, and I leveraged that experience to land a contracted role with Bleacher Report. Before I was 30, I had secured complete creative control over the public website of a payroll software company that serviced thousands of small businesses, in addition to the lead featured columnist role over the eventual national championship Ohio State football team.

I continued to climb from there. After helping Patriot Software’s website double its conversion rate, I was promoted into the Product team, where I eventually became the lead Senior Product Designer over the core payroll offering of the company.
